The community rules are designed as a policy to allow community members to respect one another. Failure to abide by these rules may result in a warning or ban. Rules may be subject to change.

NO FLAMING
You will not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. Personal attacks between friends are allowed only to a certain point.

NO TROLLING
Do not create posts that disrupt the peace and harmony of LaTale Box. Do not create threads (or posts) with the sole purpose of starting a dispute.

NO SPAMMING
Nobody is allowed to have more than one consecutive post (this rule is not applied in the guide section where guide creators may reserved posts in order to fill in more information). If you wish to add information, please edit your post. You will not mass-PM or mass-email multiple members of this site the same message. Do not post for the sake of increasing your post count.
Do not create meaningless threads and posts.

NO OFFENSIVE MATERIAL POSTS, LINKS, OR IMAGES
You will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, within or without sexually-orientation, or otherwise violative of any local or international copyright laws. This includes links in your signature, profile, bookmarks as well as posted images, photos and avatars. Staff will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not.
This also includes NO discussion of the following:
-Pornography (Pornography, in the case that we mention it, includes all textual and visual erotic material. Artistic nudity is not allowed)
-Warez (or obtaining pay programs for free)
-Roms
-Game Hacking
-Anime Downloading
-Illegal music downloading
-Illegal file downloading of any sort
-KSSN's or any Social Security-type numbers.

USERNAME/AVATAR/SIGNATURE RESTRICTIONS
Do not register usernames that are misleading (i.e. Admin). You must not register names that may be confused with LaTale Box staff members. You may not advertise in your username, avatar, or signature. Please keep any advertising in our Shameless Plugs forum. Signatures cannot be over 500 pixels in width and 200 pixels in height.

NO FLASHY ANIMATIONS/PICTURES
You are not to post any flashy animations or pictures. They're annoying so don't do it. This rule also applies to your avatar and signature.

RESPECT THE STAFF
The staff are the ones that clean up the community and help everything run smoothly. It's recommended to treat the staff with respect. If you choose to do the opposite, then there may be consequences depending on the staff member.

NO ACCOUNT/CHARACTER TRADING
You are restricted and forbidden to discuss any posts, threads, or images of trading game accounts, real-life money for in-game money, or items in one game for items in another game.

DO NOT NECROPOST
If a thread is dead, then leave it dead. Do not revive threads older than a month unless absolutely necessary.

PROFANITY GUIDELINES
You are not allowed to use profanity for any reason in any posts or threads. Please keep in mind that LaTale is a game that is enjoyed by both children, teenagers, and adults.

WARNING SYSTEM
Only moderators may warn people. If you have gotten a warn level of 100, you will receive a 1 week ban. Your warn levels will go down by 1 a day.

The nature and severity of breaking these rules will play into the banning of accounts and/or IP addresses. Please cooperate and do your best to follow these rules.
